The Musical Theater Basel is one of the most beautiful and modern of all the theatres and concert halls in Switzerland and makes part of the largest exhibition and conference company, MCH Group. Since 1998, the theatre has been run by Freddy Burger Management. The space offers 1,557 seats (1,102 in the stalls and 455 balcony seats) over an area of 900m2, all with a clear view of the impressive stage. The foyer accommodates around 1,000 guests with a choice of 4 bars spanning 1,400m2 over two floors. With a surface area of 270m2, a rigging system comprising over 50 pulleys and a 26-metre high stage tower, the stage at Musical Theater Basel meets all the technical specifications for large-scale, international productions.
